ielts topic about music

Can music be harmful?

Your takeaway at the end of this lesson: enough vocabulary and well-managed ideas to confidently spark a conversation about the effect of music on your life.

There are many things in music to listen and bring to attention. Melodies, themes, the harmony, the driving or relaxed rhythms, and the color of the sounds. Playing music, or even listening to it, opens up a whole new world of experience that further enhances the mind, physical coordination, and emotional expressions.

It’s not surprising why after World War II, modern music therapy was used to heal trauma survivors and it significantly turned down anxiety and depression among them. Today, in our everyday life, music can be used to even out our mood.

When you’re in a mind-body imbalance, some music genres can be your go-to. At the same time, some research suggests that it can increase aggressive thoughts, or encourage crime, as well.

Let’s learn more and speak about it.
